I thought I had row gauge on Mulberry Vines. Turns out I didn't. I have an extra inch on the body of the back. I don't think that's a problem since the fabric of the sweater is very heavy and warm an extra inch to cover the bum is probably a good idea.
I got to the armhole last night and will finish the back soon. The current plan is to stop at the beginning of the shoulder shaping and put the stitches on a holder while I work both fronts. Then to do the shoulder shaping on all three pieces at the same time finishing with a three needle bind off. I would like to work both fronts at once but four balls of very grabby yarn to keep untangled may be too much trouble. The only reason I am considering it is I'm thinking the neckline to a crewneck and I'm not very good at making notes on my changes as I go.
I do love the way the Noro is knitting up. The colors are really beautiful.
There is nothing like looking at pictures of yourself for finding wardrobe flaws. I never dreamed I looked so terrible in cropped pants. Those will never be worn outside of the yard again!
Picture organizing continues.
I wish we could have the elections today. I am so distressed by the racism and ugliness. Some even in my own very liberal neighborhood which I never expected to see.
